Log in to BrentSwap

BrentSwap offers two login methods: a blockchain wallet signature, or an email or phone number plus a password. Both lead to the same account, so balances, positions and statements are identical.

Method one: wallet signature

  1. In the trading terminal, click "Log in / Register" in the top right and pick a wallet (browser extension or mobile wallet).
  2. The wallet shows a plain-text message containing the domain and a random string, proving the address is yours.
  3. Confirm the signature to log in. The first login creates the account and assigns an 8-digit user ID.

This signature does not start a transfer, does not approve tokens, and cannot read your private key or seed phrase. Any request to sign a "transfer" or an "approve" is not part of the login flow — read it carefully before deciding.

Method two: email or phone number

  1. In the "Log in / Register" sheet, switch to the account and password tab.
  2. Enter an email address or phone number (digits only, without the country code) and a password of at least 6 characters.
  3. Pass the captcha; if the operator has enabled email verification, a 6-digit code from your inbox is also required when registering.

This works without a wallet, and after logging in you can deposit, trade and withdraw just the same.

Common reasons a login fails

What you seeCause and fix
No signature prompt from the walletThe extension is blocked by the browser, or you opened the site inside an app's built-in browser. Use the wallet app's DApp browser, or a desktop browser with the extension.
Nothing happens after signingThe domain does not match the one in the signed message (for example you are on an IP address or a mirror). Enter through the official domain.
Wrong account or passwordRepeated failures lock the account for a while. Check case and input method, then try again or reset the password.
That registration method is closedThe operator can disable email, phone or wallet registration individually. Use one that is still open.
Asked to sign again after logging inA valid session token does not need re-signing; clearing browser data or changing device does.

The fund password is not the login password

Withdrawals and some balance operations require a separate 6-digit fund password. It is distinct from the wallet signature and the account password, so even if a login credential leaks, funds cannot be moved without it. If you forget it, contact in-app support to reset it.

After logging in: KYC

Logging in only gets you through the door. To place orders and withdraw you must complete KYC — identity details, document images and a source-of-funds questionnaire — reviewed by a human. While the review is pending you can browse markets and see balances but cannot order or withdraw. The FAQ page has the full KYC steps.
